Every time I hear a song from the 80’s, I go back in my mind to a time when I was a kid and adventure was just around the corner. That feeling of adventure that told you that if you could get your bike going 88 mph, maybe, just maybe, you could go back in time. If you could just go through that manhole in the road, maybe, just maybe, there was treasure to be found down there from a long forgotten pirate named “One-eye’d Willy”!
There are lots of cool things kids of today are growing up with, but as a Gen X-er, nothing was better than getting on your bike with as many quarters as you could find in the couch cushions and heading to the nearby bowling alley to play all the cool arcade games. This website is dedicated to that feeling of adventure and examining the things we loved growing up, and perhaps how to share things like that with our kids.
